After contracting Lyme disease in the summer of 2001 in Marin county, California, Vir McCoy (Kara around the same time) embarked on a healing journey that culminated in a profound and complete healing for both. After standard antibiotic medical protocols, both Kara and Vir began to have intuitive or sensory impressions about the nature of the disease, the immune system, and why they were chronically ill. They developed their own protocol based on intuitive sensory perception in the way a medical intuitive might. By backing up the intuitive impressions with scientific evidence, a unique protocol was developed combining western and alternative medicine. In addition, and most importantly, a conscious shift in the way they related to the disease emerged. This brought them a full recovery in 2010 after a near 10 -year journey for both. Then in 2020 Vir dealt with Long Covid. By applying the same intuitive tools he was able to heal again. ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Vir McCoy grew up in Los Angeles, Ca. and lived in the San Francisco bay area for many years. Vir is a teacher, healer, author, lecturer, musician and ecologist. Vir has the brain of a scientist and the soul of an artist, which has made for good company. As an Ecologist, Vir works as a Field Biologist and botanist with endangered species and restoration. As a healer, Vir works as a bodyworker, teaches workshops, and lectures on healing. He has a vast knowledge of herbs, homeopathics and antibiotics. As a musician, Vir played with the award-winning world music band Hamsa Lila. Vir also was a member of Mickey Hart (of The Grateful Dead) Band for a short stint. Many know Vir from his YouTube musical comedy videos and his children’s music, as well as his work as a songwriter. Vir is an avid surfer and lives with his wife Heather, in Los Angeles, CA.
Kara Zahl lives in Hawaii and is a licsenced practicing bodyworker and medical intuitive. She lives with her husband Quinn and their son sky.
